Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation steps depend on whether you bought Vizo on the web through Lemon Squeezy or through Apple In-App Purchase.

Last updated: 23 September 2026

1. Plans and purchase channels

Admissions guidance and Help are free. Paid plans are Prepare ($9.99/month), Scholar ($19.99/month), Master ($39.99/month) and standalone Library ($9.99/year). The first Library month starts free with your first note. Your receipt identifies whether the purchase was made on the web through Lemon Squeezy or in the iOS app through Apple.

2. Web purchases: first payment

For a first paid subscription bought on the web through Lemon Squeezy, email us within 14 days of the first payment and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to justify the request.

3. Web purchases: renewals

Web subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We recommend cancelling before a renewal date if you do not intend to continue.

If a web renewal charges you unexpectedly because you meant to cancel or had not used Vizo in that period, contact us within 7 days of the renewal and we will refund it.

4. How to cancel

For a web purchase, use the billing portal linked in your Lemon Squeezy receipt or email support@askvizo.com. For an Apple In-App Purchase, cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; access normally continues to the end of the paid period unless a refund or store rule changes it. Your existing study content remains in your account.

5. How to request a refund

For a web purchase, email support@askvizo.com from the address on your account and tell us roughly when you subscribed. A receipt or order number helps us find the payment. For an Apple In-App Purchase, request a refund from Apple; Apple decides eligibility under its rules. You may also contact us for help identifying the purchase channel.

  • We aim to reply to web refund requests within 2 business days.
  • Approved web refunds go back through the original payment channel.
  • Apple communicates its own refund decision and timing.

6. Who processes the refund

Lemon Squeezy processes refunds for web purchases. Apple handles App Store refund requests and payments made through Apple In-App Purchase. Contact the purchase channel shown on your receipt if you need payment status.

7. Exceptions

We may decline a refund where:

  • A web request falls outside the windows described above, subject to mandatory rights.
  • The account shows use inconsistent with ordinary individual study — for example automated or shared access, or a pattern of subscribing and refunding repeatedly.
  • The account was terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.

Internal usage units are not separately refundable. These exceptions do not limit mandatory consumer rights, and Apple applies its own rules to App Store purchases.

8. Your statutory rights

This policy sits alongside, and never replaces, the rights you have by law. Consumers in the EU and UK may have statutory withdrawal rights for distance contracts, with conditions and exceptions for digital services. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Where local consumer law gives you more than this policy does, the law applies.
