Who can apply
For high achievers admitted to a bachelor's degree for whom 2026-27 is their first year at the Hebrew University. Requires a full study programme with tuition of at least 70% and passing a weighted threshold that changes each year. Faculty prize: 100% exemption; department prize: 50%; first year only. Not for students whose tuition another body funds, or in funded programmes (e.g. Talpiot, Tzameret, Bina, Psagot, Gamla). International science olympiad medallists get a tuition exemption in any department; World Bible Quiz medallists for 3 years.
How to apply
No application: eligible students are identified during admission. Eligibility is checked about a month after the year starts, and the prize is credited to the tuition account once the study form is registered.

Full Bagrut eligibility; transfer-course average ≥90 and every course ≥75. All CS tracks except Computer Science & Computational Biology. No psychometric or Bagrut-average threshold in this agreement. Course transcript review is required.
Courses · intake change
Core: 20474, 20475, 20109, 20229, 20476, 20441 (or 20453 + 20454). Through 2026/27 add 20407; from 2027/28 replace it with Probability 20425 or 20416. Intake changes the required set.
Language, timing and documents
Begin within four years of the first course and one year of the last. English exemption certificate is required for year-two entry. Complete C/C++ workshop 67315 after entry. Apply in the regular period with a partial transcript and completion plan, followed by the updated summer transcript; this page gives no exact deadline.
