Psychometric English section or AMIRNET
At least Basic (85–99 on the psychometric English section) at admission; some departments require more. The exemption level must be reached by the start of year 2.
YAEL or YAELNET, if your school did not teach in Hebrew
YAEL/YAELNET 105+ or placement level ה׳ (some departments require more). Exempt: an Israeli Bagrut from a Hebrew-language school, or a psychometric taken in Hebrew.

For high achievers admitted to a bachelor's degree for whom 2026-27 is their first year at the Hebrew University. Requires a full study programme with tuition of at least 70% and passing a weighted threshold that changes each year. Faculty prize: 100% exemption; department prize: 50%; first year only. Not for students whose tuition another body funds, or in funded programmes (e.g. Talpiot, Tzameret, Bina, Psagot, Gamla). International science olympiad medallists get a tuition exemption in any department; World Bible Quiz medallists for 3 years.
No application: eligible students are identified during admission. Eligibility is checked about a month after the year starts, and the prize is credited to the tuition account once the study form is registered.

Funded from the university administration's budget for students who struggle to finance their studies. Decided by a combination of economic situation and academic achievement. Open to undergraduates and to listed graduate tracks (master's, teaching certificate, clinical years 4–6 of medicine and dentistry, veterinary doctorate).
