Up to 12 full-tuition scholarships for new students who start a bachelor's at BGU in 2026-27. Applicants must be first-generation (neither parent has an academic degree) and have completed full military or national service no more than 7 years ago. They must also come from geographic or social periphery communities, with priority to Negev residents. In September 2026 a committee selects among eligible admitted applicants, also weighing financial need. Recipients cannot hold another scholarship. The programme adds personal, group, academic and social support from the Dean of Students.

For the Bedouin population only. The programme brings students into science and technology degrees. Students are admitted with their first year split in two, studying half a course load. It includes personal coordinator meetings, an academic tutor, reinforcement classes, group meetings and workshops. The page lists tuition funding / Dean of Students support services / a living and travel stipend within the programme, without amounts or conditions.

Entry via Bagrut: mathematics 5 units ≥80 or 4 units ≥90. A separate quantitative-score option exists; this comparison covers only the Bagrut option.
Full Bagrut with a passing grade in at least 4 English units; intended for applicants without prior academic study. Non-Hebrew school instruction/exams require YAEL/YAELNET classification level ה׳. Places and approved exceptions remain subject to university review.
Separate entry option: full Bagrut, mathematics examined at 4 or 5 units and psychometric quantitative component ≥130. Vizo does not collect that component, so cannot compare this option.
Applicants may request committee review with full Bagrut and math 5 units ≥75 / 4 units ≥85. The framework also lists active reservists and applicants with a limited number of prior academic courses, with full Bagrut and 4/5-unit mathematics. Approval is discretionary.

After semester A 2026/27: finish the assigned 14.5–15 credits with program average ≥80 and every course ≥65, and register for the corresponding degree for 2027/28. General university/language conditions also apply. Completion after exam sessions B/C is subject to places; only an admissions letter confirms acceptance.
Exception review: program average ≥70 and each course ≥60, available places and program-head approval. At least 9 additional semester-B credits may be required, maintaining 70/60. These are conditions for discretionary review, not an offer or guaranteed alternative.
Transfer program registration deadline: 1 October 2026, limited places; semester starts 18 October 2026. These dates belong to External Studies entry, not direct degree admission. The published deposit date (15 August) has passed: confirm payment arrangements with the center before applying.
Registration fee: ₪200, non-refundable even if not admitted. Tuition is based on non-degree special status and credits; the page allows payment using the military deposit. No personal entitlement or scholarship is established by this statement.
Nativ replaces Psychometric in BGU’s admissions calculation together with Bagrut; departmental conditions and dates remain. From 2026/27 the course contains mathematical reasoning and Hebrew literacy, without an English course. English classification is separate.
Year one 2026/27 → year two 2027/28: annual average ≥80, every course ≥65. This destination has 7 places. Preferences are ranked after semester A; allocation follows semester B results and quotas. Missing first-year courses may extend the degree. Entry to Eilat itself needs separate review; its listing currently says registration closed.
