Details
Required for a foreign Bagrut, or a non-Hebrew high school together with a psychometric in another language: YAEL 105+. 120+ for medical imaging, single-major psychology, social work, the economics tracks, the Hakham program and six-year medicine.

Who can apply
For graduates of religious-Zionist frameworks: hesder yeshiva, Torah pre-military academies, Torah midrasha, or yeshiva gvoha with IDF enlistment. It is for first-year bachelor's students only and is awarded on excellence, using a weighted score of matriculation average and psychometric. It covers one degree framework and is not for medicine. It goes only to admitted students who registered courses by the opening of the academic year. University tuition scholarships cannot be combined, except for High Institute for Torah students. Stopping studies cancels it. The rate is calculated from the CHE basic bachelor's tuition, and each year's scope and eligible groups depend on available funds.
How to apply
Send the study confirmation to the Admissions Office by the start of the academic year. The office checks it, and eligibility depends on that check.

An original study confirmation from your institution, with the scope of hours, signature, stamp, and start and end dates. Send it to the Admissions Office by the opening of the academic year; later confirmations are not accepted.
Conditions after the award
The scholarship is funded by the university's friends abroad. Recipients write a personal thank-you letter of half a page to a page, preferably in English.

Who can apply
Interest-free, non-index-linked loans from the Dean of Students, credited against tuition and repaid when the current degree ends. The page does not restrict them by degree level. Repayment is one bank transfer or up to 10 post-dated cheques, with a an amount stated on the official page bank fee per cheque. Two guarantors are required, each earning a net salary of at least an amount stated on the official page (not benefits). The borrower's spouse cannot be a guarantor, and the two guarantors cannot be a couple.
How to apply
Email the request to halvaot.services@biu.ac.il. The loan contract is sent back by email for signature.
